The hotel is inseparable from its location. You could not move it somewhere else and have it remain the same hotel.
A clear architectural identity. Not generically luxurious — distinctly itself. The kind of building that makes a statement by knowing what it is.
The feeling that arrives before you read the room description. Some hotels have it. Most do not. We only include the ones that do.
Would this hotel still be worth visiting in ten years? If the answer is not immediately yes, the answer is no.
