Salina moves at its own pace, and Capofaro understands this completely. Set among working Malvasia vines on the island's northern tip, the resort earns its place in the landscape rather than imposing on it. Capofaro is, at its core, a serious wine estate that also happens to offer rooms. That distinction matters. Fly into Catania (CTA) or Palermo (PMO), then travel by hydrofoil or ferry to Salina via Milazzo — approximately four to five hours in total. Transfers can be arranged through the resort.
Late May through June, and again in September, offer the clearest skies and the most generous light without the density of August crowds.
